  • The Group earns a 5-star rating, improves for the third consecutive year, and reaches its highest score to date.

OHLA has achieved its highest rating in the GRESB sustainability ranking, one of the leading international indices in the field, scoring 99 out of 100. This result consolidates a sustained positive evolution over the past three years, with the company progressing from 95 points in 2023, to 98 in 2024, and finally 99 in 2025.

As recognition for this performance, GRESB has awarded OHLA a five-star rating in 2025, the highest distinction in the index, granted to entities positioned at the top of the global ranking. Additionally, among the 652 national and international companies evaluated this year, OHLA achieved the highest score in the category of ‘Governance and ESG Management’ (Management Score).

The GRESB index is a global benchmark tool for sustainability in real estate and infrastructure investments and is used by institutional and financial investors to support ESG-related decision-making. It assesses key aspects such as environmental and social performance, including workplace safety, sustainability policies, use of renewable energy, biodiversity protection, and support for local communities, among other factors.

With this achievement, OHLA reaffirms its commitment to continue developing all its activities responsibly, actively contributing to the sustainable transformation of the infrastructure sector.

A benchmark in sustainable mobility

With over a century of experience in developing transport infrastructure, OHLA has established itself as an international benchmark in sustainable mobility, executing projects that transform cities into cleaner, safer, and more connected environments. The company has participated in the construction of more than 200 high-speed rail lines and is currently leading major projects such as the Purple Line (USA), the Stockholm Metro (Sweden), the Seville Metro, the Santiago Metro (Chile), and the modernization of the Brno–Přerov Line (Czech Republic).

This leadership has been recognized over time with significant distinctions, such as the SKI railway project (Norway), which in 2023 was designated by Engineering News Record (ENR) as the most outstanding railway project in the global construction sector.
