Ingesan and Madrid City Council signed a collaboration agreement within the framework of the CAMINN project

Ingesan, the leading subsidiary of OHLA’s Services division, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Madrid City Council for the implementation of CAMINN.
CAMINN is a pilot project launched by Ingesan and subsidized by the Community of Madrid in the framework of the call for the development of pilot projects of social innovation, under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (financed by the European Union) NextGenerationEU, to provide comprehensive social care for dependent or vulnerable people in the region. In this way, the company, which is strongly committed to digital transformation, reinforces its commitment to inclusion, equality and sustainability.
For CAMINN’s pilot test in the city of Madrid, which runs until December 31, 2024, 25 users of the Madrid City Council’s Home Help Service have been selected, located in a nearby geographical area to favor face-to-face interaction. Among the chosen profiles are people with physical deterioration, cognitive impairment and a feeling of unwanted loneliness.
Ingestion has a new model of health and social care
CAMINN is a commitment to innovation and digital transformation of services for the elderly in the Community of Madrid, to improve their physical, cognitive, and social well-being. Based on a personalized action plan developed by the project’s professional team, users can participate in individual and group sessions through a videoconferencing system from the tool itself, which connects to homes or centers through the TV, improving adherence, minimizing user adaptation and providing adequate audiovisual ergonomics.
It is made up of a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers, physiotherapists and sociocultural animation technicians, among others, facilitates the permanence of users in their homes and social and family environment, thus increasing the quality of care and their social autonomy, so that they are cared for and accompanied at all times.
“CAMINN: Cuidados, Autonomía e Inclusión Social. Innovación Sociosanitaria en Madrid” is a pilot project of social innovation, under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Government of Spain, financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, and with the collaboration of the Consejería de Familia, Juventud y Asuntos Sociales de la Comunidad de Madrid (Regional Ministry of Family, Youth and Social Affairs of the Community of Madrid).
