Construction of the La Aldea–El Risco road, on the island of Gran Canaria, commissioned by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of the Government of the Canary Islands. This project forms part of the GC-2 road connecting Agaete with San Nicolás de Tolentino and is included in the Collaboration Agreement on roads signed between the Government of the Canary Islands and the Ministry of Public Works.

The project involves the construction of a 10 km-long section and represents the first of two planned initiatives within this infrastructure framework. In addition to improving the alignment, the works aim to reduce the route by 35% compared to the existing road.

The scope includes seven viaducts, a 2,339 m double-tube tunnel, two bidirectional single-tube tunnels with three lanes measuring 518 m and 604 m, respectively, as well as an 87 m cut-and-cover tunnel.

The section also features two junctions, located at Andén Verde and Güi-Güi, and an intersection at La Aldea, enhancing connectivity and improving the overall functionality of this key transport corridor on the island.
