Through a partnership, OHLA was awarded, in 2025, a joint contract by Servicio Andaluz de Salud – SAS (Andalucia Health Service) to build the New Malaga Hospital, and to build and exploit its parking facilities.

Construction of the whole infrastructure is scheduled to take 75 months.

This new hospital will consist of 819 individual rooms in a 227.800 m² area. The price of the awarded works amounts to 449 million to be paid by SAS. The hospital will take on the challenges faced by Malaga’s hospital system, becoming one of the hospitals in Andalucia that offers the highest-ranking services. It will tend to patients referred from other hospitals in the province and it will carry on specific processes for other Andalucian provinces as well as other Spanish cities.

The lifespan of the parking facilities concession is 23 years. It will manage 1,767 parking spaces for automobiles in an 82.700 m² area. The necessary investment is 77 million and the income –to be received since the beginning of the concession– will derive from parking fees.
