OHLA acquired, at the end of 2014, the historic Old War Office in London in consortium with the Hinduja Group.

This building, of extraordinary historical and heritage value, is being converted to host a top-tier hotel under the Raffles brand, featuring 125 rooms and 85 Raffles branded residences.

The building is located in the historic centre of London, at 57 Whitehall, very close to Buckingham Palace, the House of Commons, Westminster Abbey, Downing Street, and other key institutional landmarks of the United Kingdom. It also holds special historical significance as the former headquarters of the War Ministry and operational centre of Sir Winston Churchill during the Second World War.

From an architectural perspective, it is an Edwardian-style building, with a total surface area of 70,600 m², distributed over 7 floors, including 2 underground levels.
