OHLA ratifies its commitment with the Spanish Business Council for Sustainable Development

The Spanish Business Council for Sustainable Development, in which OHLA is represented through its CEO, José Antonio Fernández Gallar, held its annual meeting, which called for accelerated action by companies, public administrations and social entities in the face of today’s important ESG (environmental, social and governance) challenges.
The Council, honorarily chaired by H.M. King Felipe VI, is made up of the top representatives of 48 leading companies from different sectors. OHLA has been a member since its foundation, at the beginning of 2021; and a promoting partner of Forética since 2015, a benchmark organization in sustainability in Spain and Latin America, representative in our country of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
OHLA’s adherence to this initiative reinforces its commitment to sustainability as a transversal axis of its business. In addition, the company is aligned with other national and international initiatives such as the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda and participates and develops initiatives aimed at combating climate change, incorporating methodologies that favor energy efficiency, circular economy and a commitment to innovation.
