OHLA, a global infrastructure company, and Mohari Hospitality (“Mohari”), a global investment firm specializing in luxury hospitality, today announced they have reached an agreement in principle regarding the division of assets within the Centro Canalejas in Madrid. Financial details have not been disclosed.
Under the terms of the agreement, OHLA will assume ownership of the Galería Canalejas and the main parking facility, while Mohari will assume full ownership of the hotel operated by Four Seasons (Four Seasons Hotel Madrid), the retail unit occupied by Hermès and the associated parking.
This strategic asset division allows both OHLA and Mohari to focus on their respective core competencies, maximizing value creation and enhancing the experience for guests and visitors. Since the inception of their partnership, OHLA and Mohari have demonstrated a shared commitment to excellence, mutual respect and successful collaboration, coming together to strengthen Madrid’s position as a leading market for luxury hospitality and retail.
Both OHLA and Mohari are confident in Madrid’s continued growth as a premier destination for high-end tourism and retail, and remain committed to driving innovation, quality and sustainable growth in the market. The parties will continue to collaborate to ensure that the Centro Canalejas remains one of Madrid’s iconic assets.
