Its grandeur and refined architectural design have made Torre Emperador Castellana a symbol of Madrid’s skyline. Located in Cuatro Torres Business Area and standing at 250 meters tall, equivalent to 57 above-ground floors and 56,250 m² of gross leasable area, it is the fourth tallest skyscraper in Spain.

Its visual appeal lies in its curved design, which follows the trigonometric cosine function.

At ground level, the skyscraper features a square base of 1,620 m² and, as it rises, it gradually reduces and transforms, resulting in floors of varying shapes and sizes until reaching a final level shaped like an open eye or spindle of 1,240 m².

This reduction creates a diagonal curve that runs across the building, representing the mathematical function y = cos x.

Torre Emperador is the first office building in Spain to obtain the BREEAM ES In-Use Excellent certification.

Its cooling system, known as chilled ceiling, significantly contributes to maximizing energy efficiency. It is a hybrid air-water system, with fresh air ventilation through a raised floor and chilled beams and panels integrated into the ceiling.

Another innovative feature is its active double-skin glass façade, equipped with micro-perforated blinds and a smart building management system, which adapts to external conditions and allows for light control.

Regarding interior architecture, one of its distinctive features is its two sky lobbies, located on floors 18 and 33, with double-height spaces that accommodate restaurants, cafés, and meeting rooms.

The building holds an A energy rating, supported by its active façades and chilled ceiling HVAC system. In addition, it promotes material recycling, with waste separation and comprehensive management through underground service access.

Indoor air quality is ensured by a high air renewal capacity, and users can control key thermal comfort and lighting parameters within their workspace.
