The Toledo Hospital has a total surface area of 245,859 m², distributed across seven buildings organised around a central street that functions as a public space and connects the different hospital services. It accommodates 1,142 beds — of which 760 are for inpatient care and 382 are allocated to other uses — as well as 368 consultation rooms, 97 examination rooms, 120 day hospital stations, 42 emergency observation units, and 65 treatment stations and examination boxes.
The hospital offers 18 medical specialties, 12 surgical specialties, and 12 specialised units, along with dedicated areas for paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology. It is also equipped with advanced electromedical technology, including two linear accelerators, one brachytherapy unit, one intraoperative radiotherapy suite, nine ultrasound systems, one lithotripsy unit, and four haemodynamics laboratories. The complex also features a heliport and more than 1,700 parking spaces.
