The energy produced in the photovoltaic plant will be conducted through a series of 30 kV Medium Voltage (MV) circuits and will be evacuated through a 30 kV, 5,065 m MV subway line, channeled through a reinforced concrete trench to the 400/30 kV collector substation.

The construction of the plant contemplates the integration of various measures for the conservation of the ecological diversity of the ecosystems (paying special attention to the case of the Bonelli’s eagle and other steppe species). The project will also help boost economic development in the region, as the PV facility is expected to generate approximately 300 jobs during the construction phase.

1,600 MW managed in clean energies

OHLA’s portfolio includes nearly 30 renewable energy projects in Europe, the Americas and Asia. In total, they add up to an installed capacity of about 1,600 MW, which would supply about 600,000 homes per year.

In Spain, where it manages close to 1,100 MW, the company was recently awarded two photovoltaic plants in Seville with a combined capacity of 87 MW, a 130 MW photovoltaic plant in Badajoz and a 105 MW plant in Mérida.
